Las Dunas de Santo Tomás is the first phase of a beautifully unique beachfront community located on the Sea of Cortez in the state of Sonora, Mexico.  Santo Tomás is a dramatic combination of 3,360 acres of beautiful Sonoran desert with 2½ miles of the most pristine swimmer friendly beaches in the state of Sonora.

Las Dunas de Santo Tomas is about 60 minutes from the rapidly growing  community of Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), Mexico.   Puerto Penasco is only four hours from both Phoenix and Tucson, Arizona.

Las Dunas de Santo Tomás is a gated custom home subdivision fully platted and approved by the Municipality of Caborca, the State of Sonora, and the Mexican Government.

Las Dunas, the first phase of the beachfront resort community planned for Santo Tomas, includes areas set aside as open space.

Residential custom home lots at Las Dunas de Santo Tomás offer varied views of the Sea of Cortez, the Sonoran desert, and the Sierra La Gloria and Sierra El Alamo Mountains.

Section one of Las Dunas de Santo Tomas consists of 121 custom building lots. The average size is 11,384 sq. ft., the smallest is 9,600 sq. ft. Section two consists of 9 oversized beachfront lots ranging from 14,000 to 15,000 sq. ft., and 11 hilltop estate lots which range from 16,000 to 28,000 sq. ft.

Santo Tomás is located on the edge of a fertile agricultural area where grapes, olives, citrus fruit & most of the country's asparagus are grown.

The City of Caborca, which has a population of over 100,000 people, is about 60 minutes east of Las Dunas de Santo Tomás.  It is the major agricultural center in the area, and the site of a beautiful Mission built by Padre Kino in 1692.

A developed roadway system at Las Dunas provides easy access for vehicles.

Water and electric utilities provided to the front line of each lot are included in the lot price.
